The last hurrah for a solo incarnation of Astral Skulls - the next releases will be in full band mode. I had this one ready to go and decided I wanted to make sure it got a release.

You might notice it's a bit less subtle than my usual stuff. At the end of 2016 my Dad died in hospital due to cancer-related illness. There were long periods that he was in hospital over the years leading up to his passing. One of the major battles that I faced personally were feelings that, while I wanted him to live forever, I wanted his pain (and ours) to end. I'm still finding it hard to come to terms with these feelings and to move past the guilt surrounding them. There were times that I avoided visiting him because I couldn't face it again, and times that I missed that I wish I was there for, especially the moment that he passed away.
